Plane from American Airlines diverted after Passenger Referred to Flight Attendant as "Waiter"
After a customer was accused of calling a flight attendant a "waiter," an American Airlines flight had to reroute and remove them.
Just two hours into the journey, a flight to Georgetown, Guyana, made an abrupt return to JFK International Airport in New York City due to a "disruptive passenger".
The customer, named as Joel Ghansham, claimed to have asked a flight attendant for assistance after just having surgery to put their baggage in the overhead luggage storage while traveling in business class.
According to Guarana's Stabroek News, Joel is a "Guyanese cultural activist" who posted their experience on YouTube. "I do not do that, I do not get paid for that," the flight attendant reportedly stated. But there is always another airline if you do not like it.
